A Conversation with Maestro Alfredo Arreguin

Seattle-based Alfredo Arreguin is an internationally known and recognized visual artist of Mexican descent. Within the Latino community, he is recognized as a Maestro, a term of respect that alludes to both his talent and experience as a teacher and mentor.
In this webinar, Maestro Arreguin will discuss his inspiration, career highlights, and the techniques of his pattern painting style, which reflects his Mexican and Pacific Northwest roots. Arreguin has been recognized as “an artist of magic, mystery, and revelation whose place in the history of North American art has already been secured,” critic Lauro Flores writes in his book about the artist.
