Join LLN members on September 22 for a discussion about the different borders of Latin America and the multitude of languages spoken across the Americas. Listen to participants' relationships with language and share yours, if comfortable.

LLN's “Lenguaje and Latinidad” lunch and learn is on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m. Register at least 24 hours in advance.
This meeting will be in English, but participants are welcome to share words, phrases, or ideas that feel relevant to the discussion.
What will I learn?
During this lunch and learn, LLN members will discuss the nuances between official regional and linguistic borders.
Topics include:
Populations of Spanish speakers worldwide
Colonial and pre-conquest languages of South America
Asian and Jewish Latin America
Dialectic differences within the Spanish language
